Deep Sea Fishing

Departing from the Christiansted Boardwalk, deep-sea fishing excursions take you into the rich offshore waters surrounding St. Croix. Half-day and full-day trips offer the chance to reel in marlin, yellowfin tuna, wahoo, and other impressive catches.

Whale Watching

From December through April (mating season), humpback whales migrate through the waters surrounding St. Croix. Boat tours departing from the Christiansted Boardwalk provide unforgettable views as the whales breach and surface nearby.

Carambola is just an 8-minute drive from Casa Blanca. This 18-hole championship course winds through lush valleys and rolling fairways and is widely regarded as the island’s premier golf experience.

Buccaneer Golf

Buccaneer Golf, located at The Buccaneer Beach & Golf Resort, is a scenic 18-hole resort course with ocean views from many holes, located about a 30-minute drive from Casa Blanca.

Reef Golf Course

The Reef, located on the east end, offers a more casual 9-hole layout overlooking Teague Bay and is about 45 minutes from Casa Blanca.

Historic Sites

The Danish colonial towns of Christiansted and Frederiksted invite visitors to take in the sites of historic forts, waterfront warehouses, and elegant 18th- and 19th-century buildings, while plantation ruins, sugar mills, and great houses are scattered across the island. For deeper insight, guided walking and heritage tours are also available, offering stories of the sugar era, slavery, and emancipation that shaped today’s St.Croix.

Cane Bay Beach

Cane Bay Beach is one of St. Croix’s most beloved shorelines, known for its soft sand, clear turquoise water, and relaxed, uncrowded vibe. Just offshore, the famous Cane Bay Wall drops dramatically into the deep, making it a top spot for snorkeling, diving, and sunset views.

Isaac Bay

Isaac Bay feels like a hidden escape, tucked into a protected corner of St. Croix’s east end. The hike in rewards you with sweeping views, soft sand, and some of the island’s clearest water for snorkeling. It’s a favorite for travelers who want raw beauty and a true off-the-beaten-path beach.

Sandy Point Beach

Sandy Point Beach is a breathtaking two-mile stretch of white sand on St. Croix’s west end, famous for its wide shoreline and vivid turquoise water. It is also a protected nesting ground for endangered sea turtles, so access is limited at times.

Dorsch Beach

Dorsch Beach and Sandcastle Beach are part of the same shoreline. This quiet, crescent-shaped stretch of sand near Frederiksted is a favorite spot for swimming, picnicking, and watching the sunset over the Caribbean Sea.

Carambola Beach

Carambola Beach sits at the foothills of St. Croix’s rainforest-covered north shore hills, where lush terrain slopes down to the sea. This laid-back, palm-lined spot offers calm water and easy snorkeling—and it’s less than a five-minute drive from Casa Blanca.

Chenay Bay Beach

Chenay Bay Beach is a peaceful, crescent-shaped stretch of sand on St. Croix’s north shore, known for its calm water and great offshore snorkeling. It’s an easy, low-key place to spend the day by the sea.
